Cold....

The little thermometer outside my room read 37 this morning when I got up. I actually unpacked some of the cold weather gear that I was issued and am using it. Getting cold weather gear issued to me in New Jersey in the middle of august didn't make much sense at the time. But it makes sense now.

We had to go out to a couple of scenes today. Here are a couple of pictures I took.

I've seen a lot of blown up things since I've been here and I think I'm getting used to it. Not that I'm desensitized to it, because it still looks bad and unnatural to me to see, but I am used to seeing it now and it really doesn't bother me.

My wonderful, awesome wife sent me a little laptop so I can have internet in my room now. I should be able to update this blog more often. I'm still trying to upload my videos but my internet connection is the equivalent of dial up and it just takes a while!!
